Department of Pharmaceutics
Department of Pharmaceutics, or industrial pharmacy, is one of the principal departments at the School of Pharmacy. The faculty members of this department are capable of making various medications from medicinal agents, controlling the physicochemical and microbial procedures of medications and pharmaceutical products, and finally analyzing and testing the pharmacokinetic aspects of medications to reach optimal pharmaceutical formulations.

Research Priorities
- Optimizing the pharmaceutical formulations available in Iran in order to reach a more desirable efficiency
- Conducting researches on reaching new pharmaceutical formulations more efficient than available traditional formulations
- Conducting research projects in line with the priorities announced by LUMS
- Extending the relationships of the School of Pharmacy with industrial units and universities to overcome the obstacles and resolve the challenges confronted by the national pharmaceutical industry
