Following the strategic plan written for the School of Nursing and Midwifery, we are determined to train knowledgeable and competent researchers, nurses and midwives who contribute to improve the health status of the communities covered by LUMS. As one of the earliest schools established at LUMS, School of Nursing and Midwifery intends to improve the health status of the population covered by LUMS via educating and training competent nurses and midwives in a system in which every faculty member has a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. We firmly intend to be one of the top nursing schools within Iran via providing the students with the highest standards of education in nursing and midwifery. In line with the strategic 1404 Perspective Document of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Scientific Map of LUMS, School of Nursing and Midwifery is committed to providing the students with the opportunity to participate in substantial programs of research through which they might examine issues related to clinical practices in nursing and midwifery.
