Duties and Responsibilities:

The Dean’s Office is responsible for the academic, administrative, and strategic leadership of the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery. Under the leadership of the Dean, the office works to advance the faculty’s educational quality, research productivity, clinical partnerships, and institutional development.

1. Academic Leadership

  • Providing strategic leadership for the faculty’s educational and scientific activities
  • Supervising academic planning, curriculum implementation, and program development
  • Supporting excellence in nursing and midwifery education at undergraduate and graduate levels

2. Research Development

  • Promoting faculty and student research in priority areas of health and nursing
  • Supporting studies in community health nursing, home health care, palliative care, and related fields
  • Strengthening collaboration with research centers and clinical partners
  • Encouraging publication in national and international scientific journals

3. Clinical Education and Hospital Collaboration

  • Coordinating clinical training with affiliated teaching hospitals
  • Ensuring effective integration between theory and practice
  • Supporting high-quality clinical learning environments for students
  • Enhancing collaboration between academic units and healthcare institutions

4. Faculty and Student Support

  • Supporting faculty members in teaching, research, and professional development
  • Addressing student academic needs and promoting a supportive learning environment
  • Encouraging mentorship, professional growth, and academic responsibility
  • Facilitating communication between students, faculty, and university administration

5. Institutional Development

  • Contributing to the faculty’s long-term development and international visibility
  • Supporting quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strengthening the faculty’s role in healthcare education and community service
  • Promoting innovation in nursing education and research

6. Community and Professional Engagement

  • Fostering partnerships with healthcare organizations and research institutions
  • Supporting community-oriented health initiatives and public health education
  • Advancing the faculty’s mission to respond to societal health needs
  • Representing the faculty in academic, professional, and scientific forums
